3 leopards found dead in AP forests
Sanga Reddy (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 4: Three leopards were found dead in forest near Sherkhanpalli village in Medak district today.
Forest Department officials said they found carcasses near a temple under suspicious circumstances. The animals' nails had been removed from its paws. A post-mortem would be done to ascertain the cause of death.
The officials suspect poachers might have poisoned the leopards and killed them.
Meanwhile, forest officials launched a hunt to recover the nails and nab the poachers, in and around Medak district.
