AP: No-confidence motion against Govt defeated
Hyderabad, Apr 3: The no-confidence motion moved by Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu against the 47-month-old Congress Government was defeated in Andhra Pradesh Assembly today. After a marathon heated debate on the motion for three days, which saw levelling of charges and counter-charges by the ruling and opposition parties, the motion was rejected by the house by voice vote.
Speaker K R Suresh Reddy adjourned the house sine dine. While the Congress has a strength of 185 members, the TDP has only 43 members in the house.
