Chandigarh, Apr 3 (UNI) Haryana Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department will set up a first of its kind web studio to provide video footage to TV channels.
This was announced by Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department Director K K Khandelwal, while speaking in the inaugural function of the training programme for the newly appointed Assistant Public Relations Officers (APROs) organised by HIPA at Haryana Panchayat Bhawan here.
Giving details of the web studio, Mr Khandelwal said that the video footage of various developmental activities and welfare programmes of the state government received from the offices of the District Public Relations Officers would be sent to the various TV channels in the form of a bulletin.
He said that the web studio would be the first endeavour of its kind in the country, which would bring about drastic change in the activities of the department.
Terming it a vital step in the fast changing scenario, he said that some of the TV channels had already been tied up for the purpose and the work of the web studio would be completed by September-October this year.
Mr Khandelwal asserted that he was making all out efforts to equip the department with the modern technology, besides providing it with quality manpower so as to keep pace with the fast changing scenario in the field of mass media.
