Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI-M) here today condemned the attack on its party office by an alleged activist of RSS outfit Hindu Garjana.
The attack took place yesterday at Pune in which three CPI(M) party members were injured.
Mumbai unit General Secretary Professor Ramsagar Pande said the alleged attack on the party office was pre-planned by the RSS outfit, Hindu Garjana and Hindu Jagran Manch.
The party will hold a rally to condemn the attack on April 4 at Azad Maidan here, Mr Pande said, adding that workers of various political parties including Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) along with others are also expected to join them in the rally.
Mr Pande, pointing out the incident of recent clashes between RSS and his party workers at Kannur, said the saffron outfits were only targetting the Left's offices.
He also expressed his deep concern over the recent attack on twelve people including five members of the central committee in party's Delhi office.
Taking a note of all the other attacks on various state offices of Uttarakhand, Kanyakumari and the attack on party's Karnataka State Secretary BKJ Nayar, Mr Pande said that all these attacks were the result of frustration. ''After losing in politics, the RSS has become frustrated,'' he added.
