World's no 1 Soccer Skill programme to benefit Indian aspirants

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Aiming to improve the standard of soccer for young players in India, Deeksha Sports Management (DSM) has joined hands with Coerver Coaching, world's no 1 Soccer Skill teaching Academy, and a series of activities have been planned during April 7-16.

In the series of activities, there will be an eight-day workshop for coaches and three overseas professionals will be here to part their knowledge to one and all.

Also, there will be two clinics of five days each for players of 9-18 years of age.

Coerver Coaching is providing their first two professional football educators, Paul Gibbons and director of Coaches Across Continents Nick Gates for skill development programme.

Sean Millington (ex-youth player at Aston Villa) and West Bromwich Albion who has been working with Paul with Coerver for the past few years at camps and clinics across America will also arrive to assist the coaches and young football enthusiasts.

DSM is a four-year-old company and in 2004, it started working for the grass root soccer promotion wherein young soccer players were taken overseas for tournaments.
