Trinidad, Apr 2 (UNI) After tasting defeat in the first Test in Guyana, West Indian skipper Chris Gayle, has said his side has come up with a plan to tackle Sri Lanka during the second match which starts here tomorrow.
''We'll try and see what Sri Lanka has to offer second time around, in both batting and bowling, come up with a plan and come prepared to play a tough Test,'' Gayle commented.
''I believe that if we can remain positive and focus, we can win the Test,'' he added.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, have vowed to maintain their work ethic and continue the positive approach which brought them success in Guyana.
''It is important that we go for a win in the second Test. We want to win every match we play; this is the attitude whether we are playing at home or away.
''We'll make sure we do all the hard work and challenge West Indies, and see if we can win this Test series 2-0,'' said Jayawardene.
West Indies have never suffered a clean sweep defeat in a home Test series and are eager to avoid a 2-0 reverse ahead of a forthcoming series against Australia.
