Two foreign Jaish militants killed in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 2 (UNI) Two foreign militants of Pakistan-based Jaish- e-Muhammad were killed by security forces in a fierce encounter in north Kashmir today, a police spokesman said.
He said police received specific information about the presence of militants in the house of one Nazir Ahmad Khan at Arin Dardpora.
A joint operation with 14 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) was launched to nab the militants. However, when the security forces were about to storm the particular house, militants opened fire. The fire was returned and in the fierce gunbattle two militants were killed.
The slain militants were identified as Omar and Saifullah, resident of Pakistan belonging to Jaish outfit. Two ak rifles, two magzines and two pouches were recovered from them.
