Davkhare pulls up Govt on CIDCO misdeeds
Mumbai, Apr 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Legislative Council deputy chairman Vasant Davkhare today pulled up the State Goverment for corruption in the allotment of the flats and plots by the State-run CIDCO.
Mr Davkhare told the State Government to immediately stop the implementation of a housing scheme in Navi Mumbai as certain irregularities have been alleged in the scheme.
He said corrupt officers are harrassing the poor and needy persons and, therefore, the Goverment should consult public repersentatives before implementing the scheme.
Manda Mhatre (NCP) raised the issue in the Council and said that the advertisement published by the CIDCO was misleading as the plots, which are not being alloted to the project-affected persons, are being shown otherwise.
