Hazaribagh, Apr 2 (UNI) Altogether 13 people, including 10 jawans, were injured in a landmine explosion triggered by CPI(Maoist) in Katamkundli village in Jharkhand today.
Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Singh said three of them had been admitted to the Ranchi hospital in critical condition.
Others were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Mr Singh said eight Central Reserve Police Force jawans and two of Special Task Force were injured and their vehicle ''Vajra'' was damaged in the explosion.
Besides, three passers-by in the area were also injured in the incident.
The team of security forces was returning from Dano village under Vishnugarh police station of the district, Mr Singh said.
Yesterday, eight ultras of the outfit were killed in an encounter with the police in Garwah district.
