Bangalore, Apr 1: The Tamil Sangam here today condemned the attack on its office by "a few anti-social and Parachial elements in the name of Kannada that is bringing bad name to great language and its peace loving people".
A group of people claiming to be pro-Kannada activists had entered into the office near Ulsoor Lake and vandalised the premises. They destroyed name boards, banners and pamphlets and shouted.
The agitators were protesting against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's statement on Hogenakal issue.
"We condemn such unlawful acts and ask the government to take severe action against such anti-social elements," Sangam President P Shanmuga Sundaram said in a statement here today.
