Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde today criticised the suspension of the six MLA's--two of them from his party and one from its alliance partner Shiv Sena--from the Maharashtra state assembly.
''I agree some of the legislators threw books, but there were legislators from both the sides. Among the six who were suspended, two were not at all involved in the book throwing,'' he said.
Talking to reporters, Mr Munde alleged that the government had passed the demands of Home department yesterday when he had completed his speech midway.
Today also, the supplementary demands for Urban Development and School Education Departments were taken up and while discussion was halfway, the demands were directly passed without detailed reply.
Further strategy of Shiv Sena and the BJP on the issue will be finalised tomorrow, he added.
