Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) Mumbai BJP will protest against the 'rising prices' by taking out a protest march at the office of the Suburban District Collector here on April 11.
The cost of living in the city and elsewhere in the country is on the rise and beyond the reach of the common man, a release by the Mumbai BJP said.
City President of BJP Prakash Mehta said people living in the city are facing a lot of problemS due to uncontrolled inflation.
''Citizens of the metropolis have been cheated by the State and the Central Government as no new projects have been initiated in the city,'' Mr Mehta said.
''During NDA's regime, the costs of essential goods were under control but under the UPA government, they have reached the sky, making it difficult for the common man to make the ends meet,'' Mr Mehta added.
BJP has demanded 350 sq ft area for all slum dwellers, whose slums are under consideration by the builders for the SRA schemes.
The march will also raise the issue of the deteriorating law and order situation in the city and the injustice meted out to the poor by government officials, the release added.
