'Innova' registers record sales
Bangalore, Apr 1 (UNI) Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has posted a record breaking performance in March this year with sales of its 'Innova' model crossing 6,215 units.
This translates into an all time high sales for Innova since its launch in 2005.
A company release said the sales recorded 15 per cent growth against 5,411 units sold in the same month last year.
Since its launch, Toyota Innova had sold over 1.32 lakh units and had appealed to MPV customers as well as Sedan buyers. In just one year, the model dominated the MPV market but also proven to be an excellent option for Sedan customers.
