New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation and the Kirloskar Group, today said it has posted a record-breaking performance in March 2008 with sales of the Innova crossing 6,215 units during the month.
''This translates into an all time sales high for the Innova since its launch in 2005,'' the company said in a statement.
Innova sales have recorded 15 per cent growth with 6,215 units of vehicles sold in March this year against 5,411 in the same month last year.
Since its launch, Toyota Innova has sold over 1,32,045 units and has appealed to MPV customers as well as Sedan buyers, the statement said.
TKM Deputy Managing Director K K Swamy said, ''Innova has been well accepted by the Indian customer because of its versatility of usage and exceptional passenger car comfort and we are looking at increasing our market share.
