CBI gives clean chit to Pandher in minor's murder
Ghaziabad, Apr 1 (UNI) The CBI has cleared Nithari killings accused Moninder Singh Pandher of the charges of kidnap and murder of a 10-year-old girl.
Nisha, the daughter of a dailywage labourer James, had been missing since July 2006. Her father had lodged an FIR against Pandher and his servant Surinder Koli on charges of rape, murder and hiding the evidence related to the case.
The CBI had filed chargesheets against both the accused in the CBI special court of Justice Sapna Mishra.
However, the CBI yesterday gave clean chit to Pandher, as it said he was not found to have any connection with the above case.
The CBI, however, held Koli responsible for the murder and rape of Nisha, along with, hiding of the evidence.
Both Pandher and Koli had been lodged in the Ghaziabad's Dasna jail on charges of kidnapping, sexually assaulting and murdering children, who were reportedly missing and whose skeletons and remains were later found in the premises of Pandher's residence.
