Dubai, April 1 (UNI) Two men and as many women, all Saudis, died on the outskirts of Medina when their car overturned some 20 km outside the holy city due to an alleged car chase by moral police.
Eyewitness reports blamed the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice for the accident yesterday.
''Commission officials were chasing the car in which the four were travelling,'' said one witness. This was later denied by the Commission.
Probe was on regarding the involvement of two Commission members in a high speed chase that led to the deaths of a young man and woman in the Tabuk area last month.
