10 wildlife smugglers held in Uttar Pradesh
Jaunpur, Apr 1: Police here today arrested 10 wildlife smugglers on way to sell as many as 112 bulls.
Acting on an information received at Chandvak police station, police cordoned-off the area near Gomti river and nailed down the smugglers, Superintendent of Police (SP) Lalji Shukla said.
The arrested had bought the bulls from Uttar Pradesh and were on their way to sell it in West Bengal, the SP informed.
The police team has been awarded with Rs 2,500.
