Sheila Dikshit turns 70, presented 70 kg cake by congressmen
New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today acheieved a new milestone when she turned 70.
Though it was just another day for the Chief Minister, who spent the day going about her usual engagements, people from all walks of life poured in at her Motilal Nehru marg residence to felicitate her on the occasion.
The Chief Minister recieved congratulations from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the morning.
A continuous stream of people was witnessed at the Chief Minister's residence throughout the day with her cabinet colleagues and party workers wishing her.
On the occasion of her 70th birthday, Congress workers presented Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit with a 70-kg cake.
According to a spokesperson of the Delhi Government,''there were no special celebration on the occasion. However, a regular stream of people visited the CM's residence since this morning to felicitate her''.
