Groundnut, its oil, imp palm oil, oilcakes ease

Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Prices of Groundnut seed and its oil along with key oilcakes and RBD Palmolein eased on reports that Union government would take stern action against stock holding by traders, traders said.

Buyers were cautious in the face of higher stock arrivals from producing centres like Gujarat and Karnataka.

Nigerseed, groundnut raw oil and RBD palmolein fell by Rs 10 per quintal, Rs 15 per ten kg and Rs five per 10 kg respectively on heavy offers by stock-holders. Key oilcakes crashed by Rs 200 per tonne on thin exporters demand, traders added.
