Four killed as car collides against roadside wall
Fatehabad, Mar 31 (UNI) Four people were killed and one person was critically injured when a car in which they were travelling hit against the boundary wall of the road near Pilchhian village in Punjab early today.
All the victims belonged to Ratia town of this district in Haryana and had gone to Mansa (Punjab) to attend a marriage.
While three people died on the spot, the fourth succumbed to his injuries on way to a hospital at Ludhiana.
The deceased were identified as Amit, Happy, Vicky, Deepak and Sonu. The injured was admitted to the CMC Hospital at Ludhiana.
While coming back from Mansa their car hit against the boundary wall which was erected on their side of the road under repair.
The vehicle after hitting the boundary wall fell in a roadside pit and the victims remained trapped in the car for over two hours before some local residents returning from the marriage came to their rescue.
