Fake currency seized from Pakistan couple
Jodhpur, Mar 31 (UNI) Customs Department sleuths have seized fake Indian currency notes worth Rs.1,85,000 from a Pakistani couple who was coming India by Thar Express on March 29.
A department's spokesman said here that the couple Naro and Nenoo were coming from Umarkot (Pakistan) when the custom personnel stopped them for search at the arrival gate of Customs Hall at Munabao.
During search, 185 fake notes in the denomination of Rs 1000 were recovered from the possession of the couple who came to India for a 45-day stay with Naro's cousin in Jaipur. The couple had been sent into judicial by a Jodhpur court.
