Clooney plans to quit acting before he's too old
Washington, Mar 31 : George Clooney has revealed that he plans to retire from acting and take up film-making full-time before he hits 60.
The actor has received many laurels as an actor and has even ventured into writing and direction recently, with the Oscar-nominated 'Good Night, and Good Luck' and his new movie 'Leatherheads'.
However, the 46-year-old actor has claimed that he is all set to make the switch full-time when he would grow too old to play the lead.
"I certainly would do that with the acting part," Contactmusic quoted Clooney, as saying.
"I'm fairly comfortable with the idea of growing into a grey-haired old character actor. But the reason I'm directing and writing is that it's a world that will allow me to be creative long after people stop wanting to see me in front of a camera," he added.
