BJP decries UPA for inflation, terrorism

Jaunpur, Mar 31: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former union minister of state for Home Affairs Swami Chinmayanand today blamed the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for rising 'inflation' and 'terrorism.' '' The wrong policies of the Central government has led to inflation...the prime responsibilty of any government is to check the rise in prices of essential commodities,'' Mr Chinmayanand said addressing the media here.

The prices of commodities had touched the sky, as the government lacked focus on the needs of commanman, the BJP leader said. ''The lackadaisical attitude of the UPA has further increased terrorism...Afzal Guru, the prime accused in the Parliament attack case, is yet to he hanged,'' he charged.

Besides, the central government has failed to tackle naxalism, Mr Chinmayanand added.
