BJP conducts survey for selecting candidates

State BJP President and MP Vishnudev Sai told UNI here that sitting legislators and MPs would be denied tickets if their performance did not conform to parameters set in the survey.
''The party is searching such faces that could register victory.
The first phase of the survey -- being carried out in three phases in view of delimitation -- has been completed,'' he said, adding that a list of candidates would be handed over to central party election committee after the survey was completed.
Mr Sai said the party would gain at some places and loose at others in view of fresh demarcation of boundaries after delimitation. However, he noted, party candidates would emerge stronger in most seats.
