Advani praises state leadership for boosting internal unity

Jaipur, Mar 31 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani today praised the party state leadership for strengthening internal unity within the party in recent months since appointment of Mr Om Prakash Mathur as state president.

However, he bewared the sitting MLAs and MPs against the anti incumbency factor and counselled them to introspect themselves to improve their rapport and party image among the people in their respective constituencies.

Inaugurating the two-day BJP state executive meet here, Mr Advani praised the change in scenario in the party state unit during the past few months and said that earlier people who used to meet him in New Delhi complaint about groupism and infighting within the party, in Rajasthan.

''But now I am getting good feed back and people are saying that now things are in order, all are working unitedl'', he observed.

Cautioning partymen against anti incumbency factor, Mr Advani said that anti incumbency factor did not prevail against the party or the government but it in fact did prevailed against local MP or MLA and therefore, MPs and MLAs should take not of it and guard against it.

"Therefore, all the MLAs and MPs should introspect and change to the aspirations and expectations of the people, improve rapport and image or you are bound to face the consequences," Mr Advani said.

Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Jaswant Singh delievered welcome speech and stressed the need of strieving to party's time tested principles and ideology as this only could help the party to touch new heights.

He also expressed the hope that all would work to bring back the party in power after the next Assembly elections in the state.

Party state president Om Prakash Mathur praised Vasundhara Raje Government for its achievements and called up on the partymen to work unitedly to ensure second successive win for the party in Assembly elections in the state.
