2 BoM sponsored RRBs amalgamated
Mumbai, Mar 31: The Bank of Maharshtra today announced amalgamation of Aurangabad Jalna Gramin Bank (AJGB) and Thane Gramin Bank (TGB) sponsored by it into a new Regional Rural Bank (RRB) called the Maharashtra Godavari Gramin Bank (MGGB).
The head office of new bank will be at Aurangabad with area of operation in nine districts of Maharashtra State viz, Aurangabad, Jalna, Ahemadnagar, Jalgaon, Raigad, Thane, Nasik, Dhule and Nandurbar, the Bank said in a release here.
MGGB would have 76 fully computerised branches with a total business of Rs 925.52 crores.
