Revolver used to kill Rajbir belongs to ASP Hisar, police
Gurgaon, Mar 30 (UNI) The Gurgaon police today said the revolver used to kill "encounter specialist" ACP Rajbir Singh on March 21 belonged to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ashok Shauran of Haryana.
According to police, ASP Hisar had lost his revolver on July 21, 2007 during an operation in Dadri and had subsequently filed a missing complaint in Baddha police station of Bhiwani district.
It is also believed that the same revolver was given to prime accused Vijay Bhardwaj by ACP Singh.
The police is still ascertaining as to how the revolver reached ACP Rajbir Singh.
Bhardwaj, who has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody, has asked for security as he believes there is threat to his life.
