Patient be-headed in Tohabna general hospital

Fatehabad, Mar 40 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, a patient was today beheaded by four motorcycle-borne persons outside the General Hospital at Tohana town in this district.

The assailants fled on their motorbikes but have left the bloodstained 'gandasi' (axe) used for the murder behind.

According to SP Saurabh Singh, Karamveer (30), a resident of Narwana town in Jind district, was admitted the local general Tohana after he fractured his arms in a dispute on March 9.

The assailants apparently came to the hospital looking for him, but he was not in the wards.

While going out of the hospital, they spotted Karamveer sitting outside a tea shop in the vicinity of the hospital and allegedly opened fire but missed him.

Upon this, the assailant attacked the victim with an axe severing his head and fled on their motorcycles.

Karamveer was reportedly acquitted in some criminal case by a Narwana court.

The police immediately reached the site and began investigations.

The SP Saurabh Singh informed that a team of forensic experts had been summoned.
