Isolated rain over coastal AP

Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI)Isolated rain or thunder showers were likely to occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

According to weather office here today, isolated rain occurred over Telangana and Rayalaseema. Puttur in Chittoor district recorded one cm of rain.

The maximum temperatures fell at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little over Telangana and Rayalaseema yesterday.

They were below normal at many places over Telangana and Rayalaseema and at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The highest maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius was recorded at Rentachintala and Tirupathi.

The lowest minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius was recorded at Hakimpet.

Meanwhile, Commissioner for Disaster Management has directed the District Collectors of Coastal Andhra Pradesh to take necessary steps in view of the weather office predicting isolated rain or thundershowers over coastal Andhra Pradseh.
