INLD to launch district-level protest against price hike
Karnal, Mar 30 (UNI) Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) would organise district-level protest processions on April 4 against the rising prices.
''The INLD activists would force the government to put effective steps to control the prices and would not hesitate to court arrests,'' declared INLD president and former Haryana chief minister Om Parkash Chautala while addressing a massive 'Punjabi Mahasammelan at HUDA grounds here today .
Mr Chautala said that government has failed miserably to control the rising prices of all daily use commodities and life of a common man had become miserable and difficult.
The INLD President said that in the first phase of anti-price hike protest senior INLD leaders would lead the processions at district headquarters.
Mr Chautala also announced that INLD government would put total curb on the big Malls of multinational companies to save the smallscale shopkeepers and would not allow the big industrial houses to grab even one inch of land acquired by the government in the guise of SEZs.
