Hailstorm wrecks havoc in Guwahati

Guwahati, Mar 30 (UNI) At least two persons were killed in hailstorm that damaged more than 150 houses here last night.

Official sources today said several houses were damaged and the hailstones on the main G S road disrupted the traffic for more than two hours.

All the major arcades as well as overhead road marks had been completely damaged, the sources added.

Though the traffic movement was restored today, a large portion of the city was still without power.
