Era Infra-KMB JV bags DMRC order for Rs 148.40 cr

New Delhi, Mar 30: Era Infra Engineering Ltd (EIL), in a joint venture with KMB Ukraine, has secured a Rs 148.40 crore contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) for the construction of underground metro station and tunnel. The contract, valued at Rs 148.40 crore, involves design and construction of Dwarka Sector 21 underground station, approach cut and cover tunnel and connected works, a company statement said.

The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2009, it added. The JV had secured another contract of Rs 77.9 crore from Airports Authority of India for expansion and modification work in Pune in February this year. With this, the order backlog for the Era group is Rs 4,731 crore.
