Mumbai railway stations to enjoy world class toilet facility
Mumbai, Mar 29 (UNI) Now Mumbaikars will enjoy world class toilet facility at the railway stations and the first of such kind -- an ultra modern multi-story toilet complex has been planned for Bandra Terminus at Western Railway here.
Western Railway General Manager A K Jhigron, who laid the foundation stone of the Ultra Modern Sulabh Toilet Block, speaking on the occasion appreciated the work carried out by Sulabh International Social Service Organisation and said that it will fulfil the basic needs of millions of people.
He also emphasized that such facilities are needed on all the important Railway Stations and expressed his desire to involve Sulabh International Social Service Organisation in this cause.
The toilet will comprise of 4 WCs for Gents, 2 WCs for Ladies, 2 Toilets for Handicapped, 6 Gents Urinals alongwith 2 Bathrooms each for Gents and Ladies.
It will have special amenities such as AVM, PCO, newspaper stand, shoeshine polish machine, CVM, wash basin with hand driers and other facilities, to meet the basic needs of Railway passengers.
