Chandigarh, Mar 29 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today congratulated cricketer Virender Sehwag for scoring fastest ever three centuries in the test match against South Africa and offered him to set up a cricket academy in Haryana.
The Chief Minister said that the state government would provide him all the facilities and necessary assistance to set up a cricket academy in Haryana to groom the youth and budding cricketers of the state.
Feeling elated over the way Sehwag batted yesterday in Chennai, Mr Hooda said that it was a moment of pride for every Indian. "With his fine batting performance, Sehwag had made a history in the cricketing world and had equaled his own record as India's highest scorer in an inning," he said.
