Bhardwaj was rushed to the Civil hospital here this afternoon from the sector 15 police station where he is kept under police remand.
The 42-year-old property dealer has confessed of killing the controversial policeman as he feared that Singh would kill him for not paying him money -- part of a profit generated from property investments.
