New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) The Dalai Lama today took part in an inter-faith prayer meeting at Rajghat in memory of Tibetans who lost their lives and were affected during their recent protests against China.
Religious leaders from different faiths also participated in the prayer meeting.
Several diplomats too were present at the meeting, said Mr Tserjing Dorjee, of the India Tibet coordination office as a mark of respect to the victims.
The gathering observed few minutes' silence in remembrance of those dead and prayed for universal peace.
The Dalai Lama was also presented a 'saropa' (sword of honour) by leaders of the Sikh community.
