6 hurt as car rams into them
Mumbai, Mar 29 (UNI) Six people were injured this morning when a car rammed into them while they were crossing the road near the Metro Cinema here.
Police said the car was being driven by a 23-year-old youth Karthik Shah, who was returning back from a cricket practice session at Azad Maidan. He lost control while trying to avoid a vehicle coming from the front and slammed into these six people.
Two of the injured have been admitted to the G T Hospital, while the others were discharged after receiving first-aid.
Police have registered a case against Shah under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act (MVA).
