4 abductors held; youth rescued
Mahoba, Mar 29 (UNI) Four persons of an inter-state abductors gang were arrested in an encounter and two youths were rescued from their clutches late last night here, police said today.
On a tip-off, police laid a cordon near Kaimaha bordering Madhya Pradesh, where the four criminals surrendered after a brief encounter.
However, five others managed to escape.
Police released Ravi Shankar and Manglesh from their captivity , who had been kidnapped last evening from Ladpur village here.
A pistol, two guns, two cars and a haul of cartraiges had been seized from them.
The accused had been identified as Sahab Singh, Vishnu, Ram Kumar and jitendra Singh.
