Silver, gold ease on bullish advice
Mumbai, Mar 28: Both precious metals eased slightly today with +silver declining by Rs 30 per kg and gold by Rs 50 per ten gm on lack of demand and bearish global advice, in the opening session of the Bombay bullion market here.
In the international market also, gold eased to USD 948.80/949.60 an ounce from USD 951.80/952.60 an ounce late in New York. Silver also fell to USD 18.48/18.53 an ounce from USD 18.50/18.55 an ounce following a rise in dollar, Singapore market report said.
Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the Bombay bullion market today: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 23,845 Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,280 Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,340
