Karnal, Mar 28 (UNI) In a Bollywood-style crime, six masked dacoits held a man hostage and used him to loot cash and valuables worth lakhs from neighbours in same building today.
The criminals forced entry into the house of Reliance Insurance Manager, Punit Saxena, a tenant in a multi-storey house in sector 7 here and held him hostage after snatching two mobiles, gold ring and bangles of his wife.
They then rang the bell of the landlord, P G Arora, and forced Punit to respond when his wife Leela Arora asked who was at the door. When she opened the door to let Punit in, the gang barged into the house and beat P G Arora, who tried to protest.
