AP Govt to extend computer-aided learning to 5,000 schools
Hyderabad, Mar 28 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government proposed to extend computer-aided learning from 1,000 to 5,000 schools, School Education Minister C Damodar Rajanarasimha told the State Assembly today.
Replying to Mr N Manohar(Cong) during the Question Hour, the Minister said the Centre had sanctioned Rs 250 crore to the State for providing computer-aided learning in five years from 2007-08.
The State Government had provided Rs 85 crore as its contribution,he said.
The implementing agencies were being identified through tender process. Finalisaton of tenders were under progress, the Minister added.
