Melbourne, Mar 27 : Carla Bruni's nude photo embarrassment has just gone a bit further as the snapper who took the picture of French first lady has claimed that he has thousands more images of the ex-model, including some much more explicit.
The full-frontal nude shot of Bruni-Sarkozy, which is to be auctioned at Christie's next month, was unveiled on the eve of her state visit to England with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
The Swiss photographer Michel Comte told the daily Le Matin that he has many explicit snaps of Bruni, but he would never sell them.
Comte said he had no idea how the photo had ended up at auction - "I must have given it to someone as a gift," he said
"I have other nude photographs of Carla far more explicit, but I would never sell them," The Daily Telegraph quoted Comte, as telling the Swiss newspaper.
It has been reported that Carla Bruni is very angry at the ongoing situation.
"Carla is very angry, not to say deeply upset, that a commercial organisation has chosen to release this print at such an important time.
"Her priority is to establish herself on the world stage as a first lady France can be proud of," the source said.
