Bangalore, Mar 27: Suraksha, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), will conduct a public hearing here for women sex workers to spread awareness, dispel myths and misconception about them from tomorrow.

Talking to newspersons here today, Suraksha Executive Director Maggie Thomas said the public hearing was part of a two-day annual convention. At least 15 women sex workers would take part in the public hearing and share their experience with regard to discrimination, harassment from police and anti-social elements on them and their children, and survival strategies, Ms Thomas said.
