Tibetan refugees protest against China in Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 26 (UNI) About 100 Tibetan refugees, including women and children, today took to streets here in protest against the Chinese crackdown on Tibetan uprising in the Tibet autonomous region of China.
Holding banners, the refugees in yellow dress, started their march from Partap Park near here.
After marching through different streets, including Regal Chowk, Dalgate, Lal Chowk and Moulana Azad road, they dispersed peacefully.
This is for the first time in the Kashmir history, Tibetans held demonstrations in Srinagar.
Tibetan refugees are selling warm clothes and shoes in the valley.
However, they observed complete strike today.
