NCP urges Keala Government to send all party delegation

Palakkad, Mar 26 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Kerala unit President K Muraleedharan today urged the State Government to send an all-party delegation to the Centre to seek additional funds for giving compensation to farmers affected by summer rains.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Muraleedharan, who had held talks with Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, pointed out that unlike on previous occasions, the Centre had decided to send a team to the affected areas without any delay.

However, if the State could send an all-party delegation to the Centre, then there was a possibility of getting more funds, he added.
