HC to hear Dadri project case on Apr 3

Allahabad, Mar 26 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court would hear a PIL against acquisition of loan for the Gas-based power plant project Dadri by Reliance group on April 3.

The court in the meantime asked the parties to exchange their affidavits by the fixed date.

The order was passed yesterday by a division bench consisting Justices A Kumar and Sudhir Agarwal on a PIL filed by former prime minister V P Singh. The PIL was represented by senior advocate K T S Tulsi and the state was represented by additional advocate general Zafar Naiyar. According to the litigation, the agricultural land of the land owner was being acquired illegally.
