Goa to undertake survey of backward class communities
Panaji, Mar 26(UNI) Goa government has authorised the State Commission for Backward Classes for undertaking a survey of the Backward Class communities in the State.
Minister for Social Welfare Ramakrishna Dhavlikar today stated this in the state assembly in a written reply to an unstarred question.
The survey would cost an estimated Rs 48 lakh to the exchequer, for which the Commission has already submitted its tender to the Finance Department, Mr Dhavlikar added.
