Dharamsala, Mar 26 : Exiled Tibetans in Dharamshala have decided to boycott the use of Chinese goods as a part of their 'freedom' struggle against the Chinese suppression.

Protestors took to the streets and shouted slogans like 'Shame on China' and 'Boycott Made in China.'

"We are boycotting Chinese goods because the Chinese government has been doing a lot of oppression and violation of human rights in Tibet," said Tsering, a protestor.

Articles and items of Chinese origin are being collected from the market place and burnt in a bonfire.

They expect the intellectual elite class to come forward and support them in their cause.

"We kept on struggling to put our world in front of international level so that world will support us to quit China from Tibet," said Tenzin, Secretary, Tibetan Youth Congress.

Tibetans have been maintaining that they have strong cultural and historical ties with Indian and hence they derive inspiration from the 'non-cooperation' episode of the Indian freedom struggle.
