New Delhi, Mar 25 : AICC General Secretary and Nehru-Gandhi scion Rahul Gandhi will begin his five-day trip to Karnataka from today.
Rahul will visit B.R. Hills in Chamarajanagar district today. Later, he is scheduled to meet the Soligas (member of a tribe) at the Vivekananda Girijana Kalyana Kendra (VGKK) and listen to their problems.
Besides visiting Muthugada Gaddhe, a tribal hadi (settlement), the Young MP will have a series of interactions with his party workers at Yelandur, Santhemaralli, Ummathore, Kavalande and Begur en route to Nagarahole, where he will stay overnight.
During his visit, Rahul will study the conditions of tribal people and what could be done to improve their lot.
Security has been tightened in view of Rahul's visit.
