Jeev finishes tied 26th at WGC-CA Championship

Doral, Florida, Mar 25 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh fired one over 73 in his final round to finish tied 26th at the WGC-CA Championship here.

The other Indian in the field, S S P Chowrasia shot even par 72 in round four to take tied 51st slot.

Jeev (68, 70, 70, 73) totalled seven under 281 for the tournament to be tied 26th. His final round 73 saw him make fifteen pars, a birdie on the fourth and bogeys on the sixth and eighth.

Chowrasia (74, 73, 68, 72) finished tied 51st with a total of one under 287. His fourth round 72 was punctuated by birdies on the first, seventh, eighth, 15th and bogeys on the sixth, ninth, 14th and 18th.

Daniel Chopra (72, 70, 69, 72) ended the tournament in tied 34th at five under 283.

Australian Geoff Ogilvy (65, 67, 68,71) won the event with a total of seventeen under 271. South Africa's Retief Goosen, American Jim Furyk and Fijian Vijay Singh were tied second at sixteen under 272, while Last year's winner Tiger Woods was a further stroke behind in fifth position.
